January 20 2010

Hey All Thanks for all your support and prayer! I am really working hard, as I really want to be home walking and thank everyone in person. My therapy is 7 hours a day now and next week they will up it again. Please keep praying more than ever now, cause even though I know God is helping me, I am having a hard time seeing my results of improvements. I guess I am pretty impatient! Janelle is right by my side trying to cheer me up. God Bless all of you and thanks again. Oh, I get to move out of my hospital room Friday to the apartments next door so no more early morning needle pokes or blood pressure cuffs.

  1. i would remind my daughter to "keep your chin up, because then your eyes can be on JESUS easyer" you are working hard and others can see how far you have come... and the best part is so many can see how our LORD is with you, GLORY be to JESUS our LORD. love you lots, sis wendyk

  3. If you have a hard time seeing progress, go back to the beginning of the blog and remember your journey. I remember that a short seven weeks ago we weren't sure if you'd ever be walking. I see the video of you working so hard moving down that hall at Craig and it makes me both deliriously happy and also very compassionate to know how much effort it is taking you to do things we all take for granted. While I cannot understand what you're really feeling, I can remind you that sometimes when you're climbing a peak, you have to turn around to see how far up you've traveled. I'm so proud of you!! Keep the faith - all things are possible in Christ....

  5. We were there when the therapist kept reminding you to look ahead, not at your feet. The same is true in your walk with the Lord, don't look down at your problem, look ahead to see the promises of Jesus! He is faithful and true! Love ya

  6. I jumped onto the blog this afternoon and was awe-struck to see the picture of you walking down the hallway with a walker...that is AWESOME!! You are making such good progress, Jimmy, and like Marybeth said, "Keep looking ahead, not down at your problem"! Our God is amazing and bigger than all of our trials and circumstances...He will see you through this whole ordeal...to God be all the Glory! Take Care...you continue to be in our prayers.

    We Love You,
