Homebound

This part of our journey is ended with another new beginning in Fowler. We want to give God the glory for the strength and healing he is doing with Jim. Thank you all for your continued prayers! It is impossible to express in words the gratitude we have for all family and friends. God bless each of you !
Wednesday night we had a get together with our Craig family friends which was so spectacular. The famous foursome as we call them are such special people to us and we will always cherish this time with them. Cleo and Jonetta, Randy and Connie, Donnie, Ardy, Stacey and Craig, we love you all and will continue to pray for great things to come!
When we came to Craig almost 4 months ago, Dr.s' could not tell us Jim would ever walk again. Yesterday when we were leaving our therapy gym, he walked away from his wheelchair, crutches and braces on and didn't look back. None of us can realize what he has actually experienced these last few months, but I know being here and watching it all, it has been an amazing ride. It will be so good to go home but we will miss Craig hospital personal and the many families here. This place is the best of the best for care of spinal cord injury.
Again thank you all for the Love! Jim and Janelle

Last Conference at Craig

Well, today we anxiously awaited our conference of this journey hoping to hear we get to go home the 19th. They want to be a bit further with Jim, both in physical therapy and with some medical issues, therefore we now get to come home on the eve of the 26th this February. We will embrace this as these people know whats best. We are just truly excited to be home. In a lifetime a week isn't very much but home just sounds pretty good right now. Thanks to all our dear friends and family for all you continue to do for us. It is so humbling to be taken care of from all of you. On a good note I will attach some photo and video so all can see how good Jim is improving. God bless you all!

on the road again

Jimmy passed his driver's test yesterday!!!! One more step in the right direction. The gal testing him also remarked on what a respectful guy he is and commented that he must have been a good driver before the surgery. No surprises there, right?
